One of my personal favourite new bands of 2010, and it’d seem that BBC 6Music and even Coldplay concur (isn’t something I never ever thought I’d say!). Let’s Buy Happiness - a young bunch from the North East of England - have the wistful charm of The Sundays, a glimmer of Life Without Buildings and this cascading grace of an indie-rock band repeatedly dunked in the icy waters of post-rock.
Here’s their forthcoming single ‘Fast Fast’ which is out on February 28th, has a slightly more hair-ruffled feel than their previous tracks but rushing through its veins is a rhythm with the sweetest of smiles on its face.
